Engineer Magazine

As with most institutions, communications with key audiences of are priority for enrollment, funding and partnerships. Engineer is the bi-annual magazine and primary communications vehicle for L. C. Smith College of Engineering, provides college information and updates as well as features on alumni, professors and industry advancements made by student, faculty and alumni. Stressdesign was retained, to re-envision the magazine to ensure it remained relevant and and of interest to key shareholders. Having completed a success magazine redesign project for other colleges, stressdesign was saught-out to bring a newstand quality publication with reader-focus to Engineer.
Beginning in 2009, stressdesign assisted with the realization of a more environmentally responsible production of the magazine. Using 100% post-consumer recycled paper, and using renewable energy sourced from wind power.

ID Diagnostics

For startups seeking venture capital funding, it's important to have an identity as smart as your intellectual property. The Philadelphia, Pensylvania based medical startup, ID Diagnostics retained stressdesign to help formalize the companies ideas into a powerful graphic statement that helps them stand-out in a very competitive market.
Dupli Print Collateral Design

Stressdesign worked with Dupli to develop a series of variable data sales collateral to promote and demonstrate the capabilities of their new printing press and data management. The solution included a series of market-specific brochures, graphic identity and website templates. We designed a publication framework with a system of 8 interchangeable graphic elements, 22 editorial options and a collection of market-specific photography with this design, Dupli is able to combine elements in different ways to produce thousands of brochures in the online, print-on-demand system. The publication framework included 4 brochures, pocket folder, 6 product sheets, and an implementation manual.
Olbex Solutions

The founders of OLBEX are forward-thinking not only in developing technology but also in how they need to communicate to the company’s various audiences. OLBEX turned to Stressdesign to develop an identity that reflects the company’s commitment to technology advancement and customer service. Edgy and informative communication materials were created for OLBEX to help continue its current pace of growth and further build on its prominence in the industry.

Now in its ninth season, Syracuse Sympoisum worked with stressdesign to develop identity and communications for this 4-month long series of special events. Stressdesign built on its history with the organization to deliver a comprehensive system that includes, print, large format, POP display, and web based tools.

PCI Notes Website Redesign

Notes, Inc.’s leadership recognized the powerful sales and marketing potential of its website. They needed an attractive and intuitive interface, critical for initial and continued use by the distributor representatives. Stressdesign created an online identity and user-interface for the product website as well as an e-commerce solution for simple, efficient ordering by distributors. Working closely with the Notes, Inc. technical team, Stressdesign ensured the interface solution successfully integrated with the company’s existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) computer and software toolset. The new design allows Notes, Inc customers to have more immediate access to products by clearer, easier access to product.
Ingersoll Rand Direct Mail

Stressdesign developed a direct-mail campaign for Ingersoll Rand designed to reach new vertical markets inside their existing geography. The campaign was designed to re-introduce the company to the auto-service industry, promoting new equipment and special finanancing offers.
Syracuse Biomaterials

Syracuse Biomaterials engaged stressdesign to develop brand identity and center launch materials. Syracuse Biomaterials is an interdisciplinary institute focused on research in biomaterials, smart medical devices, and biological/tissue-engineered constructs. We worked with chemists, biologists, and physists to design an identity that represented the cross-disciplinary relationships that make up the center's foundation.
