A big thanks goes out to the WordPress Showcase team for including University Lectures website as a featured site this month on wordpress.org.
Stressdesign selected the WordPress platform as a solution for University Lectures website because of its powerful, flexible open-source architecture.
Building a WordPress solution allowed us to take advantage of a customizable content managed back-end to automate many of the sites features. The SEO capabilities that are built-into WordPress, and plug-ins that are available give lectures.syr.edu a sizeable footprint for search engines to record the passing of lecture events.
