IDSA Conference

Stressdesign recently assisted the Northeast Chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) in the development of communications materials for its annual conference held in Syracuse. Stressdesign assisted with naming the event as well as managed branding and art direction of communications materials.
As part of its charge in heading design efforts for the _passion conference, stressdesign was responsible for developing the core identity program as well as the design of the entire communications package including naming, website, conference credentials and way-finding signage. Stressdesign was also a conference sponsor along with other local and international design companies such as Dyson, Copasetic Inc., Microsoft and Symbol Technologies.
The Industrial Designers Society of America (www.idsa.org) is the voice of the industrial design profession, advancing the quality and positive impact of design. Its goals are to lead the profession by expanding connectivity and influence, inspiring design quality and responsibility through professional development and education and elevating the value of industrial design as an industry.
“IDSA is an innovative organization with members who are setting trends in every aspect of industrial design,” said stressdesign President Marc Stress. “It was exciting to work with this group in developing a progressive concept for the event and corresponding communications that were functional, eye catching and informative for attendees.”
