At this year’s Syracuse Chamber Business Trade Show, stressdesign will be exhibing in booth 860. The 12th Annual Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce Business Show will be held on Thursday January 22, 2004 from 9 am to 6 pm at the New York State Fairgrounds in the Cargill Exhibit Center. The event has historically attracted over 350 exhibitors and 7500 attendees, making it the largest show of its kind in the nation. We have a limited number of free admission tickets, if you’d like to come to the show, please stop into the office this week to pick up yours. Parking at the show is free.

Craftsman Printing Awards ::.
Two stressdesign projects have recieved awards from the Syracuse Chapter of The International Association of Printing Craftsmen. One silver award for a coaches recruiting card, and one gold for a holiday card for NCAA Champion, SU men’s basketball. Thanks to ANSUN printing, and Evergreen for their exceptional attention to detail, producing winning results.

Dead Horses + Stolen Sheep ::.
Marc Stress, of stressdesign fame, will be on tour this week with AIGA Upstate New York, for the Dead Horses + Stolen Sheep lecture series. Expanding on a discussion begun in his book, Making and Breaking the Grid , Timothy Samara will explore visual organization. In this lecture he examines the rudiments of structural designing—reinvigorating Grid of the International Style.
The Lectures will take place over the course of 4 days, in 4 Upstate New York Cities.
