Stressdesign is proud to be one of the first 50 AIGA CarbonCool partners. Our office has offset our carbon footprint to near zero through reforestation efforts in Central America. AIGA partnered with Carbonfund.org for its Save the Forest project, which strives to reforest an area in Nicaragua larger than Central Park and will sequester 150,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The offsets are calculations based on reasonable profiles of activity levels, using systematic analytic tools. MedTech will be hosting the Business in the Web 2.0 World: Deploying New Technology in a Technology Company event Thursday March 19 at the Verizon Theater in the Technology Garden in Syracuse. The presentation begins at 3 p.m. Attendees can register with MedTech.

This fall, stressdesign completed a large-scale environmental graphic installation for L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computing Science. The project completely transformed the occupant experience of two main entrances to the building. Stressdesign developed and printed the panels in house and worked with Media Finishing who provided high quality finishing, fabrication and on-site installation.
“We were able to use existing case-work in the front section of the building which saved time and money.” Says Marc Stress, Principal of Stressdesign. “For the large mural wall, we fabricated a custom mounting solution which leaves existing architectural detail intact. Our solution will also allow us to update the installation in the future.”
An Environmental graphic installation can be a great way to bring your brand communications to life in a way that has a positive impact on your building. These installations also transform a space in a way that everyone notices without the cost of major architectural renovations.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the stressdesign booth yesterday at the Chamber Show. Special thanks to those of you who braved the weather just to come see us! We met many great people yesterday, continued confirmation that Syracuse is a perfect city for business. We did have an opportunity to talk to many of you yesterday, but if you didn’t get to talk to us, drop us a line to say hello. The stressballs were a big hit with everyone, homes and offices all over Central New York should be a calmer place because of it..::end
