Stressdesign, a Syracuse-based design firm specializing in communications for business and education clients, was recently honored by the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce as an “Economic Champion” for the period of September 2004 through September 2005.
The annual recognition program honors companies in the Syracuse area who have made strides in positively impacting the business community. Categories include: addition of staff, expansion or relocation, large capital expenditure due to growth and receipt of state and/or national industry awards. Stressdesign was recognized for both increase in staff and receipt of awards.
Over the 12 month period, stressdesign added a project manager to its employee roster and received numerous industry awards from entities, such as Portfolios.com, Creativity 34, American Corproate Identity 21 and American Graphic Design. Among the clients whose representative work was awarded were Syracuse University, Clayscapes Pottery, The Salvation Army Red Shield Society and Torridon Vending Services.
