Stressdesign Recognized For Excellence in Design by Leading Industry Publications

Stressdesign, a Syracuse-based design firm specializing in communications for business and education clients, has been recognized for excellence in design by two leading industry publications, American Corporate Identity and Creativity. Both publications are edited by David E. Carter, renowned author of 100 works on advertising, design and corporate identity.

American Corporate Identity is the only annual national competition devoted specifically to the field of corporate identity. Winners are published in a full-color, hardbound, 320-page publication distributed in more than 60 countries. Stressdesign was recognized in the publication’s 21st edition for its design of the Clayscapes Pottery logo and for its own corporate stationery. With this inclusion, stressdesign joins the ranks of elite organizations producing topnotch work for corporations, such as AT&T and FedEx.

More than 7,500 pieces were entered for consideration in the 34th edition of Creativity. Of those, only 1,800 pieces were chosen for inclusion in the globally distributed publication. Winning entries came from 37 states and 31 countries. Among the winners, was stressdesign who was recognized for a self-promotion calendar in the calendars category.

“We feel especially proud to be included in these publications which spotlight the best the industry has to offer,” said Marc Stress, president of stressdesign. “We strive for excellence in every design. Being recognized by American Corporate Identity and Creativity validates that we are realizing that goal.”
